Practical Solutions International Inc. was founded in 1999 by Lois MacEachern. This company has committed 100% of its time to fall prevention and protection. Quite simply this is what we do and only do. Our focus is first on fall prevention and second on fall protection.
Falls continue to remain as one of the leading causes of occupational deaths. Industry has access to the solutions; however falls continue year after year to lead the way in fatalities in the workplace!
Fall protection systems and equipment has developed significantly over the past decade. But, equipment is only part of the solution; training on the equipment used is a significant factor. Many employers think that workers should instinctively understand fall protection systems...... so what little training employees are offered is often very basic. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth; many workers don’t know the simple basics of calculating fall clearance distances or properly adjusting their harness. This leads to workers not using or misusing their equipment.
Practical Solutions International Inc. offers training and consulting services in all areas of fall protection. We will develop customized training programs, perform on site audits specific to your fall protection program, and write fall protection plans and policies specific to your company. We have worked with and assisted many companies across North America.
